Position Overview

The Digital Marketing Specialist posesses a key role in assisting in the execution of our clients’ digital marketing campaigns. They will be working closely with our Digital Marketing Manager and execute Google Ads campaigns, Facebook/Instagram Ads, search engine optimization projects, copywriting, website design, manage social media campaigns and run analytic reports.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and grow existing clients’ digital marketing campaigns which includes, but not limited to, search engine optimization, Google Ads, Facebook Ads, and social media post management
  • Develop compelling copy for social media posts, website content, and advertising messaging
  • Update clients’ websites with new content
  • Onboard and strategize new clients’  digital marketing campaigns using internal systems to ensure success
  • Lead website design projects from start to finish
  • Research and better understand existing and new clients’ industries and competitors
  • Support leadership in strategy meetings as needed
  • Support the sales team in client meetings as needed
  • Assist in Retailors Group internal digital marketing efforts from social media posts, paid ads, website updates, and search engine optimization

Qualifications

  • WordPress experience – 1-year minimum is REQUIRED
  • Basic HTML and CSS knowledge
  • Basic understanding of search engine optimization/search engine marketing and social media management/advertising
  • Experience with copywriting
  • Excellent writing and analytical skills
  • Ability to adapt to change and handle multiple priorities
  • Great team player but can also work unsupervised to accomplish goals
  • Experience in the following is not required, but a plus:
    • Adobe Creative Cloud
    • Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Google Trends, Google Search Console, Google Data Studio
    • Google Ads Certified
    • Facebook Business Manager
    • Facebook Blueprint Certified
    • Hootsuite
    • SEM Rush
    • Shopify
